Boekhoudmachine
Het Zwitserse Paillard lanceert zijn 'Hermes' in 1920, met Model 3 in
1927.
Deze Ruf is daar een variant van, aangepast voor het
Ruf-boekhoudsysteem. Een ring links op de rol lijnt de boekhoudfiches netjes uit
en een aandrukrol houdt hem op zijn plaats. Achteraan scheidt een liniaal de
fiche van zijn doordruk.
De Zwitserse 'Ruf Gruppe' doet het overigens, negentig jaar later, nog altijd
uitstekend, maar dan wel zonder schrijfmachines ...
Accounting machine
In 1920 the 'Hermes' is launched by Paillard in Switzerland, Model 3 arrives
in 1927.
This Ruf is a variation, adapted for the Ruf accounting system. A ring situated
left on the platen, neatly aligns the accounting slips and a pressure roller
keeps him in place. At the back a ruler-like strip separates the slip from the
carbon copy.
The Swiss 'Ruf Gruppe', by the way, is still going strong after ninety years,
but now without typewriters ...
