Mosgroene secretaresse
In het midden van de jaren twintig steekt Art Deco de kop op. De eerste
golf van deze kunststroming huldigt geometrisch design met rechte hoeken en
vormen. Het gevolg: de schrijfmachinefabrikanten bedekken de open zijkanten van
hun machines. Daarmee blijft meteen ook het lawaai binnen en het stof buiten.
Deze mosgroene 'Secretarial'-versie is een '8-11': 8 is het modelnummer en 11
de lengte van de rol in inches.
Moss-green secretary
Art Deco makes its appearance in the nineteen twenties. The first wave of
this art movement has geometric designs with straight corners and shapes. As a
consequence, the typewriter manufacturers cover the open sides of their
machines. With this, noise stays in and dust out.
This moss-green Secretarial-version is a '8-11': 8 is the model number and
11, the length of the platen in inches.
