Portable typewriters are geared to home users. In the 'Roaring Twenties' they
have had enough of the black coffins and want color! In 1924, the chemical giant
DuPont comes to the rescue with its revolutionary DucoŽ paint. As it can be
sprayed, the serial production of colored typewriters at last becomes
affordable. Eighty years on, you can tell by the perfect condition of this
machine how strong the paint finish is.
